Wine Tannin 1 oz
Wine tannin comes from grape skins, and adds astringency and structure to the body of a wine.
Add powdered tannin at the rate of roughly 1 teaspoon per 5 gallons. Add the tannin to 2 cups of boiling water to dissolve, and then add about 1/2 cup of the tannin/water mixture at a time, gently mixing it into your wine, tasting the wine after each addition, and stopping when the tannin level is about what you want.
