Dear fellow brewers,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of BrewChatter after 10 wonderful years of serving our fellow brewers and community. Due to various unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to shut down operations ending March 31st.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support, loyalty, and friendship throughout the years. We would not have been able to achieve such success without you, and we are truly grateful for the opportunities you have given us.

During the next couple weeks, we will be wrapping up any outstanding projects, having a massive liquidation sale and fulfilling any pending orders. We will do everything we can to minimize any inconvenience caused. Thank you again for your understanding and support during this difficult time.

Sincerely, Josh & RJ

Description:

Weyermann Munich Type 1 is a kilned lager-style malt made from quality, two-row German spring barley.  Although many use it as a specialty malt due to the robust malt character and light caramel, honey and bread flavors, Munich 1 has plenty of enzyme to be used as 100% of the grist.  Expect a malty, rich flavor and aroma, full body and a lightly amber color.  This malt is ideal for dark lagers and ales, German styles like Oktoberfest, Marzen and Festbier, as well as a malty, bready bump to your favorite IPA or Brown Ale.
