8.1° - 11.8° Lovibond
Sold by the pound. Weyermann CARAHELL, 8.1° - 11.8° L, will contribute a deep, saturated golden-copper color, very similar to Caramel 10, to any beer style. Flavors produced are light, sweet caramel that adds a rounded fullness. Also works as a dextrin malt.
Add at a rate of 1 – 15% for lighter German styles, such as Hefe-Weizen, Pale Ale and Oktoberfest.
All Caramel/Crystal malts will help add body and improve head retention.
