It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of BrewChatter after 10 wonderful years of serving our fellow brewers and community. Due to various unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to shut down operations ending March 31st.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support, loyalty, and friendship throughout the years. We would not have been able to achieve such success without you, and we are truly grateful for the opportunities you have given us.

During the next couple weeks, we will be wrapping up any outstanding projects, having a massive liquidation sale and fulfilling any pending orders. We will do everything we can to minimize any inconvenience caused. Thank you again for your understanding and support during this difficult time.

  • Can this be simply added to a finished wine like Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio? Right now I am using a kit that is a Chardonnay with a flavor pack of Peach and I image simple syrup.

    It can be added to a finished wine, but will have less sweetness than a simple syrup, and have fruit halves inside.  The Peach Puree might be a better option for back-sweetening a wine (expect to have to clarify more), or even the Peach Flavoring for less hassle.

  • how many bottles of wine will this yield?

    These 96 oz Wine Kits are intended to be mixed with water and sugar, or better yet, honey, to yield 5 gallons or 23 L of finished wine, about 2 cases of standard bottles..  For a more concentrated and flavorful finished product, many winemakers also use them to make 1 gallon batches, adding only a small amount of water and 1 or 2 lbs of honey to yield a single gallon of finished wine, approximately 5 bottles.
