Sold by the pound.  Creamy, sweet, malty, wheat product, you can use Red Wheat as part or all of base malt in wheat beers. It runs efficiently through the brewhouse, with slightly more protein than White Wheat Malt. Often used in Hefeweizen and other traditional wheat styles due to a distinctive, characteristic wheat flour flavor.  Improves head formation and foam retention in any beer style.  Keep in mind that wheat is a husk-less malt, and can stick your mash if there is a significant amount in your recipe. Make sure to counteract this by using rice hulls in the mash
