Dear fellow brewers,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of BrewChatter after 10 wonderful years of serving our fellow brewers and community. Due to various unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to shut down operations ending March 31st.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support, loyalty, and friendship throughout the years. We would not have been able to achieve such success without you, and we are truly grateful for the opportunities you have given us.

During the next couple weeks, we will be wrapping up any outstanding projects, having a massive liquidation sale and fulfilling any pending orders. We will do everything we can to minimize any inconvenience caused. Thank you again for your understanding and support during this difficult time.

Sincerely, Josh & RJ

Description

This Precision Hydrometer for measuring your Starting Gravities for any beer, wine, mead and cider.  This laboratory grade hydrometer is ideal for the detail orieniented home brewer, making higher gravities easier to read and more accurate than a standard hydrometer.  This has a range of 1.060 Specific Gravity to 1.130 Specific Gravity, making it especially useful for anyone who brews high gravity beer, or makes wine or mead where the original gravities tend to be higher.

Please note that these hydrometers are VERY fragile!  Handle with care!

Regular hydrometers work just fine, but this guy takes it to the next level.  What you’re getting with the precision model is more accurate and tells you EXACTLY where you’re at.  This is what commercial breweries use when they report their numbers to the TTB, or when they’re testing what they’ve made.  It’s almost perfectly accurate and easy to use.
