Sometimes you need a light, easy drinking pale ale for summer. PeachWave is our answer to summer heat, warmer fermentation temperatures and easy drinking, hoppy beers! We wanted to make a recipe that showed off the new Cryo Pop Cryo Hop Blend, and this light, easy drinking pale ale does not disappoint! With just 25 IBU's and TONS of hop flavors and aromas, this easy drinking pale ale will definitely get you through the summer heat wave, or serve as a light drinking, easy addition to your home brew lineup any time of the year.
When we brewed this, we fermented with Imperial Kveiking because it was HOT! This is what kveik strains are made for! It comes out with big stonefruit flavors and aromas with a subtle backbone of tropical fruit and candy.

This Beer Recipe Kit takes the new Cryo Pop blend and puts it through its paces! With a double dry hop, one at day 3 for biotransformation and one at day 9 (or in the keg!) it's probably one of the least hopped Pale Ales I’ve made in years, and one of the most hop aromatic ones! Just to push the limits, and to be able to ferment a good beer in hundred degree temperatures, we threw Imperial Kveiking in there to help promote tropical fruit characteristics and play off of the peach/apricot flavors expected from Cryo Pop. That worked out wonderfully with big fruit flavors and aromas, but our pilot batch finished at 1.002 for a super dry, easy drinking west coast style pale!
