Red Star Premier Rouge - 5 g sachet
Red Star Premier Rouge (formerly Pasteur Red) is a great yeast suited for big fruity reds, particularly Zinfandel and Cabernet. Also works well with fruity berry wines, Gamay, Merlot, Pinot and Syrahs.
Pasteur Red is very heat and sulfur dioxide tolerant, with a temperature range of 64° - 86° F. It is a low flocculating and higher alcohol tolerant strain, up to 16%.
