49 oz Can Blackberry Puree.

Oregon Blackberry Puree is a natural product and contains 100% fruit puree.  This is ideal for fermentation because it is undiluted, not concentrated or fermented, and is preservative free.  It is made by using ripe, healthy and clean Blackberry fruit.  It is naturally fat and cholesterol free and contains low natural sodium content.  

All Oregon Purees are processed in their facilities in compliand with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical COntrol Point (HACCP) standards, from the moment they receive the raw material, throughout cleaning and disinfections, pulping, screening, pasteurization, asceptic packaging all the way to storage and distribution of the finished product.  Product shelf stability is guaranteed by thermal treatment, and is guaranteed to keep flavor, aroma and nutritional characteristics of the fruit used.  

Ingredients - Blackberry, Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid)

Aroma Characteristics - Intense ripe, healthy blackberry aroma.

Color Characteristics - Color is intense and even blackberry.  There can be a slight lightening due to natural oxidation (oxidation will not translate into your fermentation.

Flavor Characteristics - Intense, ripe blackberry flavors.  Free of any other flavors.

Puree Appearance - Oregon purees are uniform, free of any foreign matter.  There may be some blackberry particles in solution.
