Dear fellow brewers,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of BrewChatter after 10 wonderful years of serving our fellow brewers and community. Due to various unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to shut down operations ending March 31st.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support, loyalty, and friendship throughout the years. We would not have been able to achieve such success without you, and we are truly grateful for the opportunities you have given us.

During the next couple weeks, we will be wrapping up any outstanding projects, having a massive liquidation sale and fulfilling any pending orders. We will do everything we can to minimize any inconvenience caused. Thank you again for your understanding and support during this difficult time.

Sincerely, Josh & RJ

Magnum Hop Rhizomes

Magnum is one of the cleanest bittering varieties on the market, and works well in any style as a balanced, bittering addition. Although Magnum has no distinct aroma characteristics, it works well in tandem with late addition bittering varieties, as it creates a clean, bitter palate to work on. Tolerant to downy mildew, it also has some susceptibility to powdery mildew, so keep it in the sun, and keep water off of the leaves. Generally produces large, dense cones.

Alpha Acids range from 12% to 15.5%, and Beta Acids range from 5.5% to 8%.

This variety does well in the high desert climate.
