Irish Moss, 2 oz
Irish Moss is a negatively charged clarifier added to the boil. When used in conjunction with a whirlpool, it will attract trub in the kettle and help it settle out before you transfer to your fermentor.
Instructions for Use: Add 1 tsp of Irish Moss per 5 gallons to the end of your boil, 15 or 20 minutes left. Make a whirlpool before you add Irish Moss, and allow it to settle on it's own with the Irish Moss in solution. This will encourage all of the trub to settle in the middle of the kettle.
