Flaked Corn 50 lbs


Flaked corn is commonly found in British bitters and milds and in the past was used extensively in American light lagers. Properly used, corn will lighten the color and body of the beer without overpowering the flavor.

Use up to 10% for a dry, crisp characteristic in any beer, and up to 40% in American Style Lagers, Kentucky Common Style Beers, as well as Corn Whisky Base.

Flaked Corn has already been gelatanized and machine rolled, and is therefore mash ready! Flaked Corn CAN NOT convert itself, so you will have to have extra enzyme in your mash.
