English Carastan 30-40
British Caramel 30°-40° L adds a light copper color to any beer style. Expect deeper flavors from British Caramel/Crystal malts than from similar Lovibond American Caramel/Crystal malts. Carastan will produce caramel and toffee flavors, along with slight toasted bread character.
Use up to 10% in IPA's and American styles, and up to 20% for appropriate British and European styles and darker styles. All Caramel/Crystal malts will help add body and improve head retention.
