English Amber Malt
Amber malt is a more toasted form of pale ale malt and is typically used in Brown Porter recipes, as well as a character malt for IPA's. Flavor profile boasts of toffee, baked bread and nuts, with a hint of bitterness that pairs well with maltier, English styles. Use at a rate of up to 10% for IPA's and American styles as a character malt, and up to 15% for darker, sweeter styles. This malt has no diastatic power.
