It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of BrewChatter after 10 wonderful years of serving our fellow brewers and community. Due to various unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to shut down operations ending March 31st.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support, loyalty, and friendship throughout the years. We would not have been able to achieve such success without you, and we are truly grateful for the opportunities you have given us.

During the next couple weeks, we will be wrapping up any outstanding projects, having a massive liquidation sale and fulfilling any pending orders. We will do everything we can to minimize any inconvenience caused. Thank you again for your understanding and support during this difficult time.

Citric Acid can be used in sanitizing solutions to lower the pH, which will make the SO2 level more effective. In addition, it can increase the acidity of wine at a ratio of .1% for each teaspoon per gallon. If you add too much, it will create a very tart flavor.

Citric Acid is also used to clean copper at the rate of 1 teaspoon per gallon.
