QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
In looking at the question that was asked about drilling the grommet, stopper and spigot holes.....what pieces of equipment would this need to be done to? Are you drilling through the glass bottle? Can you please clarify? I am also potentially buying this as a gift so would like the end user to be able to use it right away. Thanks
All you would need to drill the bucket is a step bit or drill bit to drill an 11/16" hole. We automatically drill the grommet hole in the bucket lid for the airlock grommet unless otherwise specified by the customer. The glass bottle is meant as a bulk aging container, and does not get drilled. This kit is ready to use right out of the box! Just add ingredients!

I am buying this for my boyfriend. Is it beneficial to have you drill the Grommet, Stopper and Spigot Holes? He's pretty handy and could definitely do it himself but wondering what you recommend. Thanks!
Let us drill the kit. Then when he gets the kit from you, all he needs to do is start a cider. Plus, it does not cost anything extra. Great gift idea too! Two bonus points! Cheers!
