Brewers Rice Hulls - 1lb
Sold by the Pound.
Use Brewer€™s Rice Hulls to bolster your mash and create space in the mash tun so that you can lauter properly when you have a high percentage of adjuncts, like flaked corn or flaked oats, or husk-less grains, like wheat or rye. These are a real life saver, especially if you are home brewing in a converted keg or with an All In One Brewing System like the BrewZilla or Zyborg!
Rice Hulls are also a wonderful resource for gardener€™s, and act as a sustainable substitute for perlite, adding space in the soil and helping with drainage. If your soil is more clay than loam, add in a few pounds of rice hulls before you plant your hops! They will appreciate the added drainage! These will work for any and all bedding plants, vegetables, or whatever you€™re trying to grow!
Directions for Use

Add to the mash at a rate of 0.5 - 1.0 lbs per 10 - 14 lbs of grain when your husk-less or adjunct grains make up more than 30% of your grist.
Note: You can add more rice hulls at any point during the mash without breaking anything, so don't be shy to add more to make your sparge run like it should!
