It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of BrewChatter after 10 wonderful years of serving our fellow brewers and community. Due to various unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to shut down operations ending March 31st.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support, loyalty, and friendship throughout the years. We would not have been able to achieve such success without you, and we are truly grateful for the opportunities you have given us.

During the next couple weeks, we will be wrapping up any outstanding projects, having a massive liquidation sale and fulfilling any pending orders. We will do everything we can to minimize any inconvenience caused. Thank you again for your understanding and support during this difficult time.

Description:

Our extract version of our award winning Oktoberfest!!  The pinnacle of the Oktoberfest style, this recipe was created for the 2021 BrewChatter Brew Strong Competition.  Using 100% American malts courtesy of Briess Malting and Ingredient Company, this beer was created to be the perfect Oktoberfest, and does not dissapoint!  

Using highest quality malts, this authentic and delicious beer recipe yields what may be the perfect Marzen.  Deep, rich red in color and bursting with flavor, it is biscuit forward with just a light touch of malt sweetness and a backbone of lightly bready and toasted to give you a malt character like nothing you've tasted outside of Germany.  A balanced hop bitterness and a clean, lager-like dryness brings this beer together in a way that makes you want to drink it a liter at a time!

The Second of three recipes for the National BrewChallenge Brew Strong Competition.  Also developed by the minds of your favorite homebrew store, Jamil Zainasheff and Mitch Steele, this stylistically ideal Marzen lager hits all of the high points.  Distinct, clean malt character in an easy drinking, liter at a time package, this may be our most delicious Oktoberfest recipe yet!!
