Dear fellow brewers,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of BrewChatter after 10 wonderful years of serving our fellow brewers and community. Due to various unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to shut down operations ending March 31st.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support, loyalty, and friendship throughout the years. We would not have been able to achieve such success without you, and we are truly grateful for the opportunities you have given us.

During the next couple weeks, we will be wrapping up any outstanding projects, having a massive liquidation sale and fulfilling any pending orders. We will do everything we can to minimize any inconvenience caused. Thank you again for your understanding and support during this difficult time.

Sincerely, Josh & RJ

Description

US Bravo T90 Hop Pellets, 1 Pound sealed bulk package

Bravo was originally developed by Hopsteiner and released in 2006 as a second generation Super Alpha variety, ideal for bittering.  It's growers love this variety because of the high yields and consistent flavor profile and oil content.

Usage

Bravo is primarily a bittering variety that tends to leave a dank, almost citrus character behind.  Although built for solid and delicious bitterness, it may help add a light floral, citrus and stonefruit characteristic in late and dry hop additions.

Aroma and Flavor

Bravo is well known for the bright, almost citrusy bitterness that it adds to any pale ale or IPA, as well as more malt forward styles.  Expect a more distinct orange and citrus balance in mid-boil additions, and subtle hints of stone fruit, earthy spice and vanilla in later additions.

Bravo is definitely an old school bittering hop, but tends to be one of my favorite go-tos for citrus forward, west coast style IPAs.  The bitter profile is clean and citrus forward, even at 60 minutes, and it’s a monster on the AA scale, so you don’t need a ton to get the job done.  We use this in our Victory Dance IPA recipe, which is a classic west coast flavor profile, and it’s absolutely perfect!  Try one in your next CascadeCentennialCitra IPA and let me know what you think!
