Bottle Wax can help you achieve a tough and moisture-resistant coating that will preserve the freshness, flavor and fragrance in Beer, Wine, Mead and Cider.  Our Bottle Wax is a mixture of FDA Approved waxes.  Wax helps stave off natural oxidation, and creates a very different and decorative seal.  Use for long term bottle aging to preserve your Beer, Wine, Mead or Cider.

Directions for Use:  Use a stainless steel bow, preferably one you don't intend on using for anything else, and add it to a bigger pan filled with water.  Add wax beads and heat the water consistently, but not to a crazy boil, and allow the heat to melt the wax beads.  Keep the wax in the bowl, and dip all of your capped or corked Beer, Wine, Mead or Cider to make a decorative seal.  You can double layer the wax if you desire.

Another, easier way is to sacrifice a small crock pot to your wax.  This way, it's easy to melt, store and clean, and any excess can be easily re-melted and used again.

4 oz of wax will do 18 -24 bottles.
