It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of BrewChatter after 10 wonderful years of serving our fellow brewers and community. Due to various unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to shut down operations ending March 31st.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support, loyalty, and friendship throughout the years. We would not have been able to achieve such success without you, and we are truly grateful for the opportunities you have given us.

During the next couple weeks, we will be wrapping up any outstanding projects, having a massive liquidation sale and fulfilling any pending orders. We will do everything we can to minimize any inconvenience caused. Thank you again for your understanding and support during this difficult time.

This 6.5 Gallon plastic bucket is ideal as a fermenter once you drill a hole in the lid for an airlock.  Comes complete with a lid and is ready to add any upgrades you want! If you would like a set up bucket for bottling, please see our Bottling Bucket. If you only want an airlock on the top, please add a grommet or #2 stopper to your cart, as well as the airlock of your choice!


Be careful not to scratch your fermenter when washing, as once plastic is scratched, that scratch can harbor bacteria. Consider replacing bucket fermentors after 5-6 uses to ensure cleanliness.

This bucket has stamped volume markings up to 6 gallons.  Please note that these buckets come with a pre-drilled hole for the spigot.
