A very effective organic clarifier for beer and wine. Positively charged, once dissolved into 1/4 - 1/2 cup of water, warmed to approximately 150° F, and pitched into cold beer, either in your fermenter or keg, Gelatin will collect chill haze and other proteins, dropping them out of your finished product and leaving a clear, commercial quality product.
Instructions for Use: Boil 1/4 - 1/2 cup of water, allowing it to cool to at least 150° F. Add 1 tsp of Gelatin to the warm water per 5 gallons of beer and allow 15-20 minutes for the Gelatin to 'bloom'. Add to fermentor or keg and allow 2-3 days at cold, kegerator temperatures for the Gelatin to work it's magic. If added to a fermentor, rack off of the top to packaging, leaving behind trub. If added to a keg, pour a couple of muddy pints until the beer clears, and enjoy.
